or a source... after i went off-roading on the 750R last summer, i ran down to ohio and picked up this little rarity (only about 1,000 imported EVER)...  its an 83 xj900R or a yamaha 900 seca. its currently being shopped and theres a whole laundry list of things im having attended to... one of the things ive got issues with is the forks. there are bushings in the lowers that are a bit icky. there was some rust on at least one of them but it might be servicable. key word MIGHT... if anyone knows of a source for these (yamaha has then no longer) please turn me on to them! ive got a guy looking at making me a couple of new oil locks (?) that go in the lowers as well. they are part of the anti-dive mechanism. if theres any source for these as well, let me know... chances are, theyll have to come from a set of donor forks... shoot me an email if you can point me in the right direction... thanks |
