I'm not a GXR expert, but given the facts...

5 g's for an 05 rebuild title, I'm guessing it was a wreck. I would say, rip off. That's me. You could probably find a nice 750 with a clean title for that.
There's no telling what hidden damage there may be after a wreck.

I'd keep looking.

I see way too many bikes on Ebay with Salvage titles goin for almost what the same unwrecked bikes go for
I would never pay that much for a wrecked bike even if it is rebuilt
cause you can never get full coverage on it

Plus, I just never get a "warm and fuzzy" when anyone is selling a bike with a salvage/rebuild title.

Now that would be a weapon of mass destruction. I don't think enough seeing eye dogs could be trained to deal with the crisis !

That one sounds like a scam. If you can verify that it's not, grab it.

Sounds good so far. Why is the seller selling it? (not that the seller will necessarily tell you the truth).

Ride it first.

Seriously, your best bet is going to be to find a good source for blue booking these bikes and you really need to take a friend that is familiar with sportbikes with you when you shop.
