I like the cbr rr I was almost sorry after I rode one shortly after I bought my gixxer. But hey some time passed and I got wiser, the gixxer is good enough to put a grin on my face. Nevertheless the cbr is a great bike.

I think all sportbikes from the "big four" are great and IMO, it's a matter of personal tastes as their bikes were already tested and proven in competition.

Yup, it's Russian for "America." Just wanted to see if cyrillic fonts will display on my profile.

I dont any a CBR anymore, but the next sportbike I be will prolly be a used 954. I miss my 94 F2 in a bad way.

prolly get flamed for it, but I just built a chop(most of it anyway, he wanted to finish it out) using the heart of an 02 CBR 600.

Guess I could post a pic.. It wasnt very affordable for me to make the new radiator but he is having it made, and I think he is going to mount it in front of the rear fender.

He wanted something that no one else has, and he wanted it to have gobs of power, and definately no Harely motor, to many harley only arseholes out there already...

Welcome. As forum administrator I feel it is my duty to inform you that there are no 06' CBRs. Most of them come closer to 8 feet long.

I recently purchased my F4i. I have been riding for 27 years, however this is my first sportbike. I enjoy reading the forums as a way to gain insight into this new adventure.

Fo shizzle, it'z da bizzle all up in da hizzle!!!

Actually, I have no idea what that means. What I meant to say is "sure."

My bro has a 2000 ZX-9R, and that's the bike I ride when I'm with my folks in So Cal.

MagnumForce I ride a Blue M50 and have considered a CBR600 as a second bike. I see that you ride both, how do the two compare? Which do you ride the most? and how well do you fit on them? Which did you ride first and what made you decide to get the second. Thanks for you help.

BlueMax, I've been away for a while, so I do apologize for the delayed response. First off, I find it difficult to compare them because they are two totally different styles of riding. I try to devote equal time to both bikes. As far as fit goes, the M50 fits me perfectly and the F4i fits me just fine as the grips are positioned above the triple tree for a less aggressive posture; the F4i's RR (Repli-Racer) sister has the grips positioned below the triple tree.

I actually rode both CBR models (F4i/RR) before I rode the M50. My brother has a 2004 RR and my brother-in-law has a 2004 F4i. I chose the F4i for comfort and ease of use (compared to the RR). Before the M50, I never rode a cruiser though I wanted one. The M50 fit good, looked good, and had the shaft drive so I took a chance on getting one; haven't been disappointed since. If you're still on the market for a CBR, I hope this helps.
