Ha, it is informational, but from what I have seen, they don't like videos like this, because it..whats the word....encourages!, it encourages unsafe riding.

You don't have to delete it, and I think were both gonna get flamed for this, but hey thats ok

Jeepers! Well, you're not responsible at all. And I am simply interested in the physics of levering the back end up....hmmm.

I think you're pulling my leg...

Ha, I am totally not joking. I mean there not going to ban you or anything, but they don't condone this type of riding, I mean everyone does it, but still...
no joking here.

I'll search around and see if I can find an example

Here we go. You can browse through this thread...http://www.motorcycle-journal.com/fo...hlight=stoppie

But I would like to highlight this one part

If you want to learn to wheelie, there are other forums that focus on stunting. Motorcycle-journal.com is a family-oriented forum which highlights safe riding techniques. Wheelies are not a safe riding technique. And to quote another thread on this forum ...

Sorry, not everyone does it. And quite frankly, I'd probably drop a load in my pants if i pulled a stoppie on my bike.

Well, if you're giving it 100% max braking then you reach impending skid on the rear wheel (back end should be almost completely unloaded) which is really a lil' baby stoppie. IF you accidently lift the rear, well, that's something that can reasonably happen when you're max braking.

It's all about the safety.

Let me clarify something here. First off yes this site promotes safe riding. This means obeying the laws, wearing the proper gear, keeping you bike in proper working order etc..
That being said there more then a few of us, who either race, participate at Track days, go to races. These types of events are dangerous, yet they are in a controlled environment. Stunting, done in a controlled environment and not on public roads should not be looked down upon. The one difference with stunting is that a lot of the tricks strain the integrity of the frame as well as other mechanical parts.
