Would it be considered in good taste to wave at a rider who has one of those?

If it's not just a cosmetic change they made, you will probably be waving at his backside.

I'm not quite sure how you took my last comment Scourge, but isn't it pointless to wave at one's backside? I ask this question because some riders wave at scooters while some others don't. For the record, I do wave at the larger scooters. How about you?

If you want to see more examples of this sort of thing go here http://www.bite.co.jp/ and look under the 'CUSTOM' prompt on the left hand side. The site is almost entirely in Japanese but there are some interesting pictures there.

Sweet! Scooters with an attitude that says "BITE ME!" Gotta love the Honda Silverwing 600RR (or is it the 600F4i?).

Gee, that gives me an idea! I think I'll go dig out the '84 Ford Tempo rotting in the back yard and put $20,000 into fancy wheels, Chrome, body panels, and paint.

If the cruiser and sport bike crowd can spend a boatload of cash customizing and tuning their bikes, why can't the scooter crowd do the same for theirs?

I'll bet that in five years I will get a better return out of my M95 than anyone can on a scooter. It is like Buying a Yugo and soaking $20,000 on it to make it "Cool" at the end of the day it is still a Yogo!

That's cool man, I know what you're saying. I tend to hurl whatever I ate whenever I see Honda Civics blinged out like fast and furious. And their exhausts, OMG they sound like friggin weedeaters! I would just take a few deep breaths and tell myself they need their day in the sun too.
