damn, hook line and sinker. Why are you guys arguing with someone who has a liter super bike and is in forums propping up their own pitiful egos? I have owned liter+ bikes, back when my testicles didn't have much hair on them. Sure the same holds true here. The big scooters look pretty cool to me. Take it from someone who spent a few years in Europe, scooters are cool.

a scooter "may" go up to 110 mph but funny.. whenever I see one going down a busy interstate they manage to stay barely above 60 mph all the while cagers are dangerously speeding around them. So yes .. scooters are dangerous! Esp. here in the states where you have large open highways that usually require one to at least maintain the current speed on 4 lane hwy's and interstates.. but before you people get all riled up over this just remember its just what I have seen out riding and is only an opinion, nothing more.. If you want a scooter thats cool.. enjoy the ride :/

I gotta laugh at the OP. Who takes a machine to the dealer 20 times without leaving it there permanently, perhaps with a dog turd perched on the seat?

I'm with Clint on this one; after about the 6th time, I'm on the line to the zone manager, or vice president of something DEMANDING a different machine.

Now his parents need to ban him. I quess he just lives up the road in "Peoples Replubic of Massachusetts" about 60 miles, too bad. After reading that he was a grad stundent, I would think that he learned something.

Hey everyone. This is my first post to this site but you guys hit a nerve of mine. LOL Six months ago I may have said scooters were a waste of time. However, I recently had some surgery and the doctor screwed up. Now I can't lift my left foot to shift. He cut the nerve to the foot. Guess what... now I'm looking at large scooters. Ya never know. I would much rather ride a real motorcycle but I don't want to stay in first gear for the whole ride. I guess I can look at a Hondamatic or a older bike from Europe with right hand shift. However, most of the bikes I have now are not going to work for me anymore. (And I have quite a few) All I can say is ride what ever you can and stay away from doctors with knifes. Take Care... Zac |

Hey Zac, I have the same problem - I can't lift my left foot (although not because a doctor screwed up). It took me a long time to figure out how I could learn to ride a motorcycle and several people suggested a scooter, but I just didn't want a scooter. I finally found someone to teach me to ride in first gear just to get the feel for it and then I bought my bike and had a Kliktronic electric shifter installed. It works great! Whatever you decide to do, I hope you find a way to enjoy the ride again! |

Kliktronic electric shifter? This looks like something I have to check out. "Hey look guys, I bought something I have no real use for." Like half the stuff I got.
