Default Ignition Switch Recall

I recieved a notice last week RE a Recall on all 2003 and early 2004 B400 & B650 Burgmans, for faulty ignition switch. It can melt up, and cause everything to go dead, while at speed. They say not to drive it untill it's fixed .(yea right). I have put on about 12,000 miles in 2 years, with no problems.

I called a Dealer on Wed., and he said he heard if it, and ordered the parts. The parts came in today, so I'm going over there and it will be fixed while I'm there. He fixed 1 today already, in about an hr.

Great timing as on Sun. as I'm leaving for or annual 1,000 mile + , 1 week road trip. At least I don't have to worry about that.

Suzuki dosen't have a good "Rep." for warrenty work, but in this case, they did jump all over it.

I had it done, and nothing was wrong with the old one. It took about 45 minutes.

Oh, the road trip was great.
