Default It begins!

Here are some pics of my bike just back from the shop. After EXTENSIVE shopping around, I settled on a Bully FIC and a set of Roadburner 3" Drag Pros for my '08 C50. The pipes look incredible and as soon as I pushed the start button and fired it up for the very first time I knew I'd made the right choice. I swapped in the K&N filter but have yet to mod the airbox and just taking the scenic route home it's like riding the bike again for the first time. Maybe it was all in my head but she pulls like hell, I get that same giddy feeling twisting the throttle now as when I first moved up from the 250 I started on. The weather is supposed to be beautiful for the next several days and I can't wait to get out there and enjoy it some more.

For anyone curious about the volume, it's....damn. Describing it won't do it any justice but I WILL say that I definitely know now what people mean about loud pipes on a long ride. In the city they sound so evil as you row through the gears *gives me shivers* but somewhat akin to the comments/concerns about how fast a C50's engine turns at highway speeds (hence a lot of desire for DJ drives etc), in 5th gear at 110 km/h these pipes produce a steady ROAR. Without a windshield, I am not sure I will ever do much long distance cruising in the near future (aside from Port Dover next August) but if I do...a visit to smartpartz.com may be required first.

Suffice to say, I am one happy monkey. OOK OOK!!
