LOL, Oh yeah it is loud, I am using a rumble road 40 watt amp with 40 watt west marine speakers, (painted chrome) I have to tell you it's not the size of the amp that gives you good sound but how well you have the amp and speakers matched. You can turn the volume as loud as you want and will not distort, This is one loud unit been using the same setup for the last 5 years. You really need to hear it to believe.

| Battery? It looks as if you have been doing some serious de-cluttering, also did you fabricate the forward controls yourself?

| I gotta get that top rack soon but I was told that with the spoiler I mounted the top rack will not fit. Guess I have to make some spacers.

| I'll take your rain easy! Hell, at least it's a warm rain! We rode last weekend for 2.5 days in 65 degree weather (warm for US this time of year) and the last 1/2 of the last day, we were riding in rain/snow and 30 degrees. BRRRRRRRR Wanna trade?

Solo stance - Naked Jug look. Since removing my bags, back seat, windshield and pair valve, I'm now averaging 56 MPG versus 48 MPG. Bought this '07 model in Feb. of '08 and now have almost 10K miles on it. The windshield was nice, but I didnt realize just how much it was holding the bike back. I'll settle for a little extra insect protein in my diet to have that "wind in my hair" feel. ![]() Last edited by ChrisGA; 05-24-2009 at 02:28 PM. Reason: Forgot to add pic. |
