1900 miles later, Machine performs flawlessly, except I think the guys that did the 600 mile service left a screw loose. And no Its not the one riding it.... The lower left side cover was flopping around on me. found the top screw was gone. Finally got my M1 endorsement, so it has been the commute vehicle of choice. Averaging 48 mpg, mixed. Max mpg so far 52.5.

That's a beauty, thanks for sharing. Are you considering removing that safety sticker?

Safe rides

LOL - how subtle.

Firstly

Secondly - the stickers SUCK and I still can't understand why the manufacturers put them all over the paint. A heat gun and they'll come off without taking paint with them.

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah, the sticker'll probably come off sometime this winter when I get bored; may have to borrow a heat gun from work or something. So far the height of my "modifications" is bolting a 250# rated Harbor Freight magnet under the frame to help trigger stop lights. Made a big difference, and bolted right up to the brackets that I'm guessing are for a center stand or something. Trying not to get too carried away on modifications yet, the bank account is still recovering from the down payment on it!

Default RT stripped

Stripped the bags, windshield and luggage rack/sissy bar from her this weekend and what a difference!!

Only one minor incident - nicked the paint on the rear fender when the sissy bar dropped dammit!!

Now I've got to find a white pearl metallic touch up bottle.

I so envy you............ what's top speed you feel comfortable taking an average corner at in that beautiful work of genius they call m109? Does it feel balanced or is it a behemoth.

On my way to a charity ride I discovered this covered bridge that I didn't know existed only 45 minutes from my house. Beautiful day to ride today.

Beautiful photo. Reminded me a C. Eastwood + M. Streep movie.

Sorry the bridge is in Upson county not Madison County. lol

Actually I'm now inspired to visit all 15 covered bridges in Georgia next spring with my son. I guess the one I visited yesterday was number one on the list.
