I had a 2007 M109R and loved it except for the front light. When I saw the C109R, I had to have it as I love the classic appearance. This thing makes the Harley Fat Boy look like a child's toy. I like Harley's, don't get me wrong, but isn't it ironic that an Asian motorcycle company makes a bigger bike than an American motorcycle company? - And for a lot less money.

I wished I'd had mine over the summer - just got mine in September

Nice, big bike for the larger folk like me. At 6'-4'' and 290, comfortable bikes are hard to come by.

I started with the motorcycle class to get my feet wet properly. I then bought my first bike - an 1800 cc M109R. I had no problem handling the bike but was careful and didn't act stupid. With the C109R, which weighs even more than the M109R, it takes a little effort to get it off the kickstand as it leans over pretty good. If you have any strength about you, however, it's no problem. Good luck with your decision and ride safe AND smart.

I guess you know that there are now a lot of exhaust options for the C109R, and from Cobra. Good luck - I'm looking to get some Dragsters for mine as the stock pipes are pretty quiet.

Just kidding with you. That's a fine looking ride. Suzuki did these bikes well.

Has anyone installed the Cobra exhaust for their C109 yet? If so, would it be possible for you to make a short video so I can see what it sounds like?

By the way, after a little research, I found the dragsters are available at the following link for $408 with no shipping charge for ground delivery:

I really like my C109R but must say I wish they would have offered the two-tone paint on the C109R without having to buy all the extra baggage (no pun intended)

associated with the RT. I don't do a whole lot of long-distance cruising so I'm not a big fan of the windshield or backrest but really like the color scheme. Perhaps I'll just have to get a custom paint job.

By the way, the proportions of the C109RT with all the extras is fantastic. The Suzuki designers did a fine job.

I see there are quite a few Canadian riders out there. I've often wondered how many months of good riding weather you all have. I'm from St. Louis, MO and am lucky to get about seven good months of decent riding weather. You all are much colder, however, eh?

I was only to Canada one time on a family fishing trip back in the early 80's - beautiful country up there.

Did you actually check to see if they had any in stock? I have seen plenty of vendors listing them but have yet to see any in stock.
I'm looking to get some Hard Krome 2into1 Sideburners myself.

Our riding in wisconsin it pretty limited from now til spring. Salt and sand on the roads makes for some poor riding conditions.

I live in Calgary Canada and ride 12 months a year.
November through April requires extra care and caution - and patience in selecting a good day for a short ride.

90% of Canada's population is within 200 miles of the US border so our climate is very similar to the northern states.

I have it Don. It is an easy install. Just pull the one cover off the right side and find the right connector and put the cover back on.
It'll be an improvement!!
