On my M50 I mounted it just above and behind the headlight, wired into the headlight flash switch, leaving the existing horn functional for normal use. I didn't want to cause any unnecessary heart attacks due to the EXTREMELY LOUD Stebel output.

I believe..same horn, just rebadged...but can't see your pic to verify. If it's the same Wolo Badboy I seen at O'Reilly's auto parts, then same thing.

This thing is great. Finished my install yesterday (much harder on the no-places-to-hide-or-mount VS800/S50).

Daddy likes....currently trying to figure out logistics of remote activation installation.

Default Get One

I bought one @ a year ago and thought it alittle complicated to install.
With the help from this forum I found out how easy it was.
My riding buddies use to laugh at the stock horn on my C50T, so I'm going to get all of them in front of my bike and demonstrate this amazing little creature.
It only took one hour and was very simple. I recommend it highly!
Get yourself one and find out.

I have been searching for a horn all weekend since I moved my fuel processor into the old horn cover, I am now hornless. After reading this thread I went out to the local auto parts stores and what I found were duplicates of the same horn with diff. packages. All were the same price, same exact basic design as the stebel but they were $49.98. So far this Motorcycle Horns - Motorcycle Air Horns is the cheapest and also has the wire harness available. I have made my choice. Gonna install it in my old pair valve cover. Can't go neked anymore.

To give back to the community, any rider near me that needs help wiring this up, I'll be glad to help. These horns are wonderful.

I went again today to O'Riley auto with my pair valve cover and the horn they have, which is made by Stebel, fits perfectly. So those of you that have done the pair valve removal this is a perfect place to hide it. I think I should cut a few holes in it to let out the noise though. I also wonder if I will blow my own ears out if and when I use it.

Nope. I've learned it's quite loud in a parking lot and/or garage...but going down the road it doesn't seem that loud to me now.

That sounds like a guy I used to work with. If you have ever been around someone doing an air arch it is extremely loud. He would always say that "close up it ain't that loud."

So here is my Stebel mod. I mounted the compressor behind my oil rad. and the horn itself against the frame and tight up to my hwy bars.

Default steble

Put mine on a couple weeks ago. Very loud! Got it from Bikerhiway. Took about an hour. I had to make a bracket to mount it.

Unhappy

I found one made by Fiamm, 139db. I will put it on the ninja 250. Hope it does not blast it to pieces. I asked if it comes in chrome counter jock said no.

do add this to your bike. a beep beep of the factory horn just doesn't do it. But if someone thinks a semi truck is honking at them, welllll just say u get noticed. a compact sized stebel horn installs easiest. usually near bottom area of radiator.

Opened the package, pulled off the sticker & stebel in in raised lettering molded into horn assembly. Works great and I can hear the horn at 70mph with no problem. If you use it and the other driver cannot hear it, they ARE DEAF. Great little horn.
