Default New found respect

Three months ago I bought a new bike, I went from a 750cc to a 1800cc big difference. I've put in about 3500 miles seat time on this bike (7 years on the 750) it does not feel as big as it once did. I was feeling froggy last Fri when a Mustang and a Lightning pulled up beside me they were reving engines and lurching at the light when it turned green I stood on it (wouldn't you? maybe not) I left a nice patch at the light when I shifted to 2nd I found myself star gazing. Staying calm I rolled out of it shifted again. Just wanted to share this so we all can remember if we are not careful we could end up just along for the ride. ride safe but have fun!
