Default What type of protective clothing does everyone wear?

I just wanted to see if I was alone as far as my gear? I wear my full face helmet, gloves, boots, vanson perf. leather jacket(for when it's HOT!!

My upper half is well protected, however, it really seems that if I was to go down, that my denim levi's just will not protect me well enough..

Any thoughts on what I should wear? Not sure if I'm the leather chaps kinda guy, (having visions of the village people. not that there's anything wrong with that!!

Rockhead,
I've been looking at the Vanson ventmax, how do you like it? and if you don't mind, how much did you pay for it? Did you order from their website? sorry for all of the questions, but I'm looking to replace my Joe Rocket Alter Ego. Thanks.

It's awesome in hot weather but dipping below 70 bring your leathers. (Long trips just bungee the jacket on the handlebars)

I paid $139 but I have a link at work for $89 that might still work.

I certainly hope it will help in an incident it feels like it would help from road rash.

Edit/

Sorry I deleted the link from my work computer.

I used to wear hockey padding and galoshes but people stared. I gotta get around to upgrading the wardrobe. I do like my knee high doc martins.

I am pretty much the worst example to follow: I quit wearing protective gear 20 years ago, and ride in Tony Lama boots, wrangler jeans, a sleeveless denim shirt, and a non DOT beanie in states that make me wear a helmet.

Teknic jacket
HJC CL-MAX full-face helmet
TourMaster leather gloves
Levi's
generic boots from K-Mart (not steel-toed; a really hard whack will break your foot AND trap your foot in the boot, will need to be removed at a hospital)

Hi everyone
I am new here, own a C90 love it. I wear either a full or 3/4 face helmet by HJC, thin palm padded leather gloves (colder times I wear my Olympia thermal gloves) Leather jacket, take liner out when warmer. Regular Levi's on bottom and Timberland steel toe pro series boots. I have dropped my C90 1 time in 2nd gear, jean protected me for the most part. Still had road rash but no cuts.

SNAFU....killer Halloween costume.

About the only thing I'd add is a shaved head and you'd have the whole package.
