In a few ....days!! Waiting for some Posi-taps to arrive (they are impossible to find in retail stores) so I can clean up the top case brake light and switched power fuse panel tap ins - suitcase connectors are not working well for those.

Hi Berry,

I went from A V-Star 1300 Tourer to a BMW R 1200 RT. I liked the V-Star very much - it's great for a cruiser. So is you M50.

The BMW is wonderful for everything - commuting, touring, long-distance, etc.

I'm glad I made the change.

I hope this helps.

Hey BD, yes, I like my F800ST very much too. Enjoy your bike. I was seriously considering the RT, came close to buying it, but finally decided that my long-distance touring needs were minimal and I would rather have the lighter weight and the maneuverability of the F800 (as well as the $$$). Its handling is just wonderful.
