Default K1200r

The first is pretty bland but the other slightly modded is pretty sweet!

Just started looing at this bike. At 163hp and almost 80ft-lbs of torque, this is a freakin' monster. I am reading reviews that say the long wheel base isn't a big deal due to the advancements of other handleing technologies put on this bike too.

This puppy makes the Speed triple look like grandma's new ride.

One of my riding buddies just bought a K1200S:

He let me sit on it and it has a surprisingly nimble feel. The center of gravity is really low, like cruiser low, incredible bike.

Correction, I just read that the bike has a whopping 94ft-lbs of torque!

St0nk, how does he like it? I am sure he love it. I read an review of the R and they were complaining that the steering dampener wasn't working very well. They replaced it with another stock one and it still wasn't working, but they never had a problem on the S, so they weren't sure what's wrong with it.

The only thing I am afraid of is that really long wheel base. I am sure that helps with straight line acceleration and controlling the bike, but for turning, the suspension, tires and other things will hopefully make up for it.

I have already decided that if I can test ride one and I like it, it will be my next bike. Maybe in a year and a half.

One of the instructors of my ERC (Experienced Rider Course) has a K1200S. You should see how he handles the beast. The wheelbase doesn't seem an issue at all!

My German boss says I should get rid of my Suzuki and get a BMW. This won't happen soon.

Ask him to give you a raise to get one!
