| I am sad to say that I am selling my classic Cafe racer which used to be a 1970 Suzuki T350 Rebel, a 2-stroke twin. It currently is on eBay. CLICK HERE to go there. Click any pic for a large, detailed view. The buike is also for sale locally in the Austin, TX Craig's List HERE. ![]() A good example of a classic cafe racer. Here is a youtube video of me doing a little burnout on the bike. I was on my way to buy a fresh set of Avon Venom tires, so I decided to let a little smoke out:
The bike was vandalized shortly after this video was shot, and I was inspired to re-restore the bike even better than before. ![]() I especially like this old clock. These old gauges with the speedometer and tachometer all-in-one are really hard to find. When I found this one I had to snatch it up. ![]() Front dual leading-shoe drum brakes are cool. I had this one internally upgraded, and now the stopping power is about 10 times better than when new. ![]() I found this old jacket that was once owned by a racer back in the 1950's. It was his race leathers, and they just don't make them like this anymore; black, thick and full of authentic character. I bought it thinking I could restore it, but it was too far gone to make a good jacket, so I stashed it for a rainy day. Well, I was able to use that old racer's jacket to upholster the seat. It came out beautifully. It has all that real patina from the old leathers, it even smells like nice old leather, plus all that racer MOJO. ![]() One more parting shot. It almost glows, thanks to my mediocre photography skills.... Peace and grease -fang Last edited by fang; 12-17-2007 at 11:25 PM. | |||

| Ken, check your messages. Update: The bike did not sell. The eBay buyer contacted me and said he cannot pay for it, so the sale fell through. This sort of thing happens all the time out on the Internets.... I am unhappy about this. Now it is for sale locally for $3k, obo. all offers will be considered. bla bla bla Call me of you want it :512.828.77"four"6 But I probably will not sell it now. I shot some fun videos of the bike and tossed them up on youtube. Click and enjoy! ![]() Burn out. This is an old one. ![]() Drive away. I just sort of narrate for a second and then drive away. Bla bla bla. My van is in the background, so this video is especially cool! ![]() Detailed Walk-around. This is a fairly long winded walk around the bike, pointing out some details. ![]() Wind up. I wind the bike up and rip through all 6 gears. Woo Hoo! Peace and grease -fang |

| Bummmmmp. The bike is still available in Austin, TX. I am still asking $3000, obo -- any serious offer will be considered. http://mightymichaelis.com/t350/ -- click link to see lots of more pics and the videos. I will be happy to work with a buyer regarding shipping, or deliver it anywhere this winter in my 4x4 van for $0.75/mile. Thanks! -fang - 512.828.77FOUR6 Last edited by fang; 01-08-2008 at 09:03 PM. |
