05 black m50 with many extras - Motorcycle-Journal Forums

Bike has around 5000 miles on it. Had the valves adjusted at 4000 miles. This bike has the following add ons:

Roadhouse 2:1 pipes
Thunder air kit (round with flame insert)
Cobra FI fuel processor
Clear Alternatives front and back clear lenses with chrome bulbs
Chrome custom made rear fender rack (made by my brother-in-law)
Light bar with grote spotlights
Chrome neck covers
Chrome side covers
Steibal air horn
Saddleman large saddlebags
Cobra Tachometer
De-badged with custom chrome flames on tank
Suzuki tank bra
Lowered with homemade bones (2.5")
Aftermarket side mirrors
Suzuki chrome engine guards
Kuryakyn brake and clutch add-ons
swing arm removed and chrome drive shaft cover
"Back-off" tailight flasher
Chrome radiator cover
Kuryakyn wide chrome levers (brake and clutch)
................and some other odds and ends.

(Whew! I didn't realize how much stuff I had on this bike!)
Anyways, the wife wants a Harley so the M50 is going to go!

Bike still for sale? I have my Buell up for sale and I am going to get an M50 next. That one is what I am looking for, I don't suppose you want to work out a trade?

Ken,

The bike is still up for sale. I am not interested in a trade but keep me in mind when you sell your Buell. My bike is a great bike and I think it is a good deal at $4800.

I'll check back as soon as it sells, i really like your M50. How does it do comfort wise 2 up? The only reason I am selling it is so my wife and I can ride more together.

Ken,

I have a backrest/luggage carrier I bolt on the luggage rack when my wife rides with me. I never got a different seat because I sat on some after market seats and they feel no different than the stock one. As far as power for 2-up riding, never had a problem keeping up with my buddy who has a Honda Goldwing. Of course the air kit and 2:1 exhaust combined with the fuel processor adds more horses to the stock motor. Good luck selling your bike and maybe we can so some business in the future!

It doesn't hit the local papers until tomorrow and I'm going to have to lower the price already to keep up with you.
