Default Bully for the C109RT

I just placed an order for the "Bully" for my C109RT. I know frostbitevinnie had one on his C90, and I was just wondering if anyone else has one on their C109 yet?

Gary the owner of G-Man now has a C109 and has one on his. Wow, you probably got a great price looking at the G-Man site.

I've been reading his blog on the 109 and I was planning on putting it in this winter. Then I see he had them on sale and I had to get one now!!

OK, I installed the bully and I also did a few other mods. Let me know what you think. I haven't toyed with the bully very much yet. I am satified with it so far, it has eliminated the surging.

Dang I need to wash my bike!!!!!

Watch out for deer up there.. i know you already know that but my uncle picked one off outside of luck about 2 years ago and i don't think he's touched a bike since. Saw a few up there by the road last weekend.

a little off topic but it happens

Yep I ride to work everyday yet, and I usually see a few on the way.
I have been leaving a little earlier so I can drive a little slower. I should probably start to take the truck soon. I am going to haul the 109 down to chicago in the back of a u-haul and help my aunt move down there and then ride the 109 back up this weekend. I hope it stays warm till Sunday!!

grandpatractor: How long did it take you to install the bully? Also, where did you mount the controller. I don't want to install one on the riser, would rather it be tucked away somewhere.

When you took you bike to the dealer, did they have any issue with a bully being installed? That is another issue that I am not sure about with voiding the warranty. If it is not a lot of work maybe just take it off? I read the instructions and it seems like a fair amount of work to install.

I don't have a 109 but the install on the 90 was easy. Plug and play. Mine took less than 1 hour to install which was mostly skinning the bike. The wires for the Bully are long enough to make a variety of placements. I put mine in my old horn housing.

It took me around an hour maybe alittle more. Like vinnie said, it has alot of wire and is easily mounted where ever you want. It works well for me right on top of the risers and it is easily adjusted.

The dealer didn't have any problems with the bully being installed. He was more interested in the bully and how it worked ,than he was about my seal leaking. He is a decent dealer and I know he won't give me the runaround.

I am ready to install a FI controller to see if it will get rid of the engine/spark knock I am getting. I installed cooler plugs (#9) but it didn't do much. Octane booster works, but I don't think is a good thing to put in my bike. Thanks for the info

I think I know where Inland Empire is. I grew up in Redlands.

I ordered the bully, hoping to solve my spark knock problem. I'll let you know how it goes when I get it installed.
