My air box 02 1200s, stock block box, one of the other owners drilled what looks to be about 12-15 holes in the top of the box where the holes are under the bottom of the gas tank. Now with the stock air filter, and the holes untaped it runs great. With the K&N and the holes unpluged, its getn to much air, by it is boggin and start of open trottle to almost half then it turns on till the last 1/4 and it bogs again but I'm gettting 20+ miles more per tank. I replug the holes and it runs better not perfect but almost and milage is out the window again. So unplugged 145 before fuel light blinks. Covered 126ish I have Ivens jet and DW holeshot.. any Ideas? Also the Bike seems to surge at steady trottle. There is what I would think is almost no back popping so I'm pretty sure the jetting is ok, but the ever slight serging is a head sctatcher?? It almost seems like a serge of the Alt, or even when the bikes on a slight rebound from a small bobble in the road,, sounds wierd iI know P.S I cant seem to change my M50 pick to my Bandit pick .. what am I doing wrong? |
