|  Fender eliminator?
Has anyone put on a fender eliminator kit for the 1250? I was so ready to do it, having found one for only $114, but then a friend of mine says, "For all the riding you do in the rain," (and it's true), "you may regret it." He says that if you do a lot of touring, your going to end up with your tail bag, jacket, and posterior parts of your anatomy soaking wet. Is this true? I guess it would make sense...the fender was invented for a reason. Anyone have experience riding the 1250 without the rear fender (in the rain, particularly)? It just looks so much cooler without the fender, but I don't want to sacrifice rain-day comfort! Thanks! |
