Default Bandit 1250 fueling issue

I recently picked up a brand new, zero-miles, 2007 Bandit 1250S. I considered the Triumph Tiger, but I used to ride a B1200 and put 40K miles on that, so I guess I was predisposed towards the Bandit. But the fuel injection on the 1250 has me a bit concerned, because it's snatchier at the bottom of the throttle than the old carbureted B1200, or my (now sold) Triumph Sprint ST 1050. Is this normal for the B1250? My throttle hand is having to acquire some new muscle memory. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
