|  The Bandit Tire Thread
I'm sstarting to see the belt in the center of the rear tire (in the bottom of the tread) so I'm starting to research tire options. I probably still have a ways to go right even though I'm seeing the cords in the tread? I wanted to start this thread to get opinions, reviews, prices, tread life reports on tires you've used on your Bandit. The stock tires are at about 3800 miles. I got a quote for the Avon Storm ST AV56 rear for $180 at a local shop. They do free installation if you bring them the wheel off the bike. RonAyers.com has them for $147 shipped then I'd have to pay for install so probably about a wash.  What are your opininons for a decent sport touring tire with reasonable life. I'm not a canyon carver, but ride fairly aggressively at times. I live in Oregon so a tire that works well in rain is a must too. Most my riding is two lane highways with sweeping curves. Occasional freeway. |
