Default Can't get tank pad to stick!

OK, so I'm now on my second tank pad. The first one was from Everything Suzuki.com. It was way too small, rigid and stiff, and started peeling off immediately. So, for the next one I decided to do things right: I got a really cool-looking colorful one by Keiti from my dealer. I followed the instructions meticulously: Cleaned the tank first with the provided alcohol pads, heated up the pad and the tank with a blow drier, applied it and then pressed it down firmly. In fact, I compulsively kept smoothing it out with my hand every day for the next week.

Here it is about a month later, and one of the corners is starting to detach. Dang it! Just one corner...but what's the deal? Did I forget to say some magical incantation??? They didn't tell me you had to apply it only when the planets were aligned correctly!!

Someone at the dealer said that I could re-attach it with some silicon (silicone?). He assured me that it would stick, and that it would come off cleanly if I ever wanted to remove the pad. Has anyone ever heard of this? If not, anyone have any better ideas (besides the obvious...which is take the thing off and get a tank bra)?

Thanks, mates!
