you did warp the rotor, you won't get a pulse till you get hard on the brakes at higher speed, they are floating rotors and you won't notice the warp at lower speeds or light pressure. If you pump the break and it feels ok, but once you move down the road and you need to pump it again, the rotor is not running true and pushing the pistions in the caliper back to far. Good luck with it, rotors are very expencive. You can have them strightened.
