My Savage does the same thing when parked on the smooth wooden floor of my shed ... wheel tends to flop suddenly to the left every now and again ... doesn't seem to happen on pavement though ... more friction between the tire rubber and the asphalt? As a previous poster stated it's probably inherant to the chopper-esque style of the Bike. Try turning the front wheel more to the right when parked, rather than straight ... this'll likely prevent it from flopping to the left. A pal of mine Rides an H.D. Softtail Standard and he has a steering damper installed which he can stiffen or loosen as he likes ... he says the chopper-esque style of that Bike gives it a floppy front end at lower speeds; damper helps this a lot.
