I'm not sure about their "better" mileage... Most stories get expanded by 10 to 15 percent. Like the guy on another post that claimed he was doing 130 mph on his LC1500... I have a LC1500 and I think I would be lucky to get UP to 105 on a good day with the wind at my back... Maybe he was dropping off a cliff??? My mileage varies from 36 to 38 and I have everything tuned, tires inflated as needed, etc. Maybe I could get better mileage IF I took off the hardbags, lost 20 pounds myself, only rode with the wind at my back, on and on... 45/50mpg???
