Went to down shift once on the freeway off-ramp and realized that the shift peg had fallen off. This was on my HD. It was a big hunk of chrome. It had damaged vehicles behind me. I went nutso on the locktite after that because I felt guilty because two windshields were destroyed.
Stuff falls off. It happens. But a front brake lever is pretty darned scary. Glad you're OK.
