it's all pretty easy. just take out the bolts, pull out the plates (might need to pry gently with a screwdriver) then soak/coat the new plates with oil.... install, tighten everything up... done.

you can even do it without draining the oil if you just lay the bike on it's side. I'd go ahead and change the oil, but it's an option.

changing the basket is just as easy, only tricky part there would be stopping the basket from spinning as you loosen the large nut.
