I have only been to 2 gigs and both of them were quite different music to what everyone else is posting up.
I saw Madonna when I was 16 to keep a friend company, I wasn't a fan before the concert but I was after. The second concert I saw was 2 years ago, I saw Ja Rule, enjoyed that too.
I think any concert is enjoyable, even if you aren't a big fan simply because of the atmosphere.
I have also been to a few rave/dance events with DJ's and a few popular dance groups, I think they are always louder than gigs.
