(05-30-05) Rate Yourself
Rate your development from 0% (can't find the starter) to 100% (tired of Rossi's silhouette crowding your rearview mirror).
We're talking about overall motorcycling. If you have 100 miles on your first bike, and you've accumulated all of it during 400 quarter-mile runs, you are still green. Straight-line acceleration requires the skills of a trained chimp.
We're talking about stuff like:
Look-out
Cornering
Low speed maneuvers
Shifting
Be honest!!
Tell us in a post how long you've been riding, how many miles (approximately) that you've ridden, and how many bikes you've owned.
Me:
3 years (this July)
21,000 miles
First bike
[EDIT: I chose beginning corner carver. I'm not new by any means, but I'm certainly not proficient enough to call myself anything other than an advanced beginner.]
