The Vol would be a great choice for you, it'll haul you with no problems, looks good and won't break the bank.

No such animal as an intruder 1100 ( don't worry it can be confusing at first ) Two bigger models in the intruder line up a 1400 wich is more chopper like and although a great bike it is a little long in the tooth. Then there is the intruder 1500 known as the LC.

I would not call you crazy to start with either the 1400 or 1500 but the Vol is such a great bike for the price that I see no need to shell out more cash at this time.
