I've been away from riding for quite some time and I have to agree, the SV650S is a GREAT bike. It's got quite a bit of power down low, so you'll have to be careful, but if you ride responsibly, it's a wonderful experience. Take these $.02 for what they're worth b/c I've been on mine and I'm admittedly biased.
Can't help it, it's an amazing ride.
