Hope this is right for your model.

Black= Universal ground for the unit connect to frame or negative terminal of battery.

Blue= Power lead for the light

Red=Power lead for the tach

Green= Coil sensor

Splice both the blue and your red wire together to a power source ( I tapped in to the light circuit that way the unit is on when the bike is on ). ground the Black to the frame or the negative terminal of the battery and of course the green to the coil ( on my bike I spliced it to the green/black wire).

You should be good to go, the unit isn't working now since your power source for the tach isn't connected.
