A little west of Trae we're looking at mostly $2.03 for 87 octane. Couple stations are holding down at $2.01. 35 miles or so north-west, I found a station that was still $1.90 - name brand stuff, too.
btw, Gixxerdale, while the additive bit has effected the cost of fuel, that's only part of the story. Bigger part is 1) reduced refining capacity in the US (largely becuase the EPA has made is less profitable to run a refinery in the US, and 2) China.
China can't do much about at the moment. The additives are a completely different story, and for that I blame California, Mid-West corn farmers and the EPA for their roles in raising everyones gas prices.
