 saving gas and pipes
I was getting 48 mile per gal highway on my 2002 Intruder 800vs. I found the pipes were starting to blue. I polished the pipes with blue job and adjusted the carbs to reduce fule feed. I now get 50 miles per gal or a bit better on the highway. The pipes are doing well, with little to no blueing. I am able to crude 125 miles with out hitting reserve wile loaded for a trip with mild lugage and sadle bags. Just a thought.
Note I did look into a larger tank, but decided taking a break every 2 hours would not be a dumb idea when traveling, so no need to upgrade the tank.
