I agree the DN-01 is different. But if you review it's spec's you can see that it is geared toward newer riders, commuters etc. Small engine is good on gas, automatic transmission is good for in city and heavy traffic. Good egro's and windscreen. And I think it looks cool and well done.
Not my cup of tea but, it may have a place. At least they are doing more than just tweaking for higher unusable HP's and for twistee's that don't exist in most places.
Of course I think Aprillia did a better job for a simliar type of bike. Check out the Aprilia Mana 850 GT. 850CC automatic 6speed transmission, under seat fuel, leaving a large storage where the traditional tank is, big enough for full face. It even has built in 12 volt accessory plug in.
