 M50 Hell Toe options

By Hell Toe I mean, Heel Toe .
I am sure that this has been asked before. But from what I was able to search out I couldn't find an exact answer.
Will an OEM Heel Toe shifter from a C50 of equivalent year fit and work on the M50?
I purchased the Boulevard floor boards from my 09 M50. They are great! However I had to raise the shifter quite a bit to get my foot under it. It still not high enough for my foot to ride comfortably. So i want to see if its possible to switch it out with a C50.
From what I found it looks like it would fit but I wanted to confirm. Wanted to see if anyone did it? I found the MC Heel Toe conversion kit but I didn't quite like it. Let me know what you guys think or know..
