I'm looking at getting a bigger bike than my C50. I found an 07 used Star 1300 with pipes in the color of my choice - red. At another dealer I found an 07 Road Star with pipes for about $500 more. This is in the silver with ghost flames which is okay but doesnt thrill me like the red.

So my questions to those that have experience with these models...
Is the Road Star worth it for $500 over the 1300? It is a 1700cc compared to a 1300cc but is it that noticeable in power and cruising comfort? Is the carburated, air cooled 1700 a step backwards in technology compared to the 1300?

Ahhhh.....I hate these decisions.
