I have a 2000 Marauder 800cc. It sat for about 3 months without being ridden. It had stabil in the gas during that time. Especially before its warmed up, it backfires and misses a lot. It gets much better when its completely warmed up, but still misses a little. I tried using seafoam, but it didn't help much.

Am I looking at a carb overhaul?
