Default Help with bleeding air from clutch !

Well, I have reached my limit and need help. I put on new risers.......but had to break and slightly shift the hydraulic line out of the clutch reservoir on the left hand handlebar. Retightend it, and, voila! no clutch. Figured air in the line, right? .....so I got a mighty Vac and proceeded to fill and bleed new DOT 4 brake fluid into the reservoir and out the bleed valve. Some tiny air comes out for a while in little bubbles, but eventually it is just clear clean new fluid. I close everything up.... still no resistance and no clutch. Open it up... proceed to draw another full bottle thru the sillly thing... no apparent air....and close it up...and still no resistance and no clutch. What am I doing wrong??
The original hydraulic line is now very tight. I shut the bleed valve tight before anything could run backwards. I keep the reservoir more than half full. I put the cap back on the reservoir. Then I try the handle and nothing... no resistance and no clutch action.

Anybody have an idea for me ? What do I do now?
