 Off to New Zealand
Well, since Chicster is off to Alaska, I thought I might as well post our next adventure. We leave Tuesday for New Zealand.
Fly Orlando to Atlanta, then to Los Angeles, then off to Auckland.
My beloved is a Kiwi and her father is turning 80, so we are spending a couple of weeks touring the islands. Will probably do some skiing, couple of hiking day trips, flying to Wellington to watch the "All Blacks" national rugby team beat up on those stinkin' French, visit friends and spend the night in the wine region, possibly head to Christchurch (if time allows - her brother is moving there next year and wants to show us his house), and generally just have a great time.
We are then going to stop-over in Las Vegas for three days to really relax and unwind.
Hardest thing is packing. 94 deg here today, 50 deg high in Auckland, probably around 25 deg for the nighttime rugby match, same for skiing, then 110 in Vegas.
Trip of a lifetime!
