Actually, both the Ford and Lincoln motors are rated at 310hp/365lb-ft. Both are rated at a swell 14/20 mpg

both engines are built at the same plant in Windsor, Ontario, and both are considered to be Flex Fuel engines even though Ford prominently displays this on the vehicle and in advertising while Lincoln does not, and instead only mentions it in passing in the manual.
Oddly enough, the Ford has the higher compression ratio (though only slightly), but the Lincoln owners manual calls for 91 octane fuel, and the Ford manual calls for regular 87 octane. Both can, as Flex Fuel vehicles, also use E85.
