For price, looks, and sound, I think I have narrowed choice down to Vance & Hines Longshots. I am sure I have read, but wanted to confirm that the Longshots would work on my 05 C90 by using the optional head pipe bolts from Gman. A local dealer where I would get the pipes says that the Longshots are not listed for the 05 C90 and I don't want to order them if there is a chance they will not work.

Would there be much of a sound difference between the Longshots and the Cobra Speedster Longs.

Last question: I also wanted to confirm that simply changing pipes would not require an FI box - since the dealer is saying it is highly recommended. I am not looking for more performance, just better sound.
