Default Favorite Ride Picture

Riding season is upon us.

So I thought it was time to make a post of one of your favorite road pictures.

I have many favorites but this one tells a great story.

This is on 191 in Arizona between Morenci and Alpine. I highly recommend this road. When I ran it from South to North, I saw maybe 5 other vehicles and 5 bikes. I could park my bike on the centerline and walk away to take a picture. It was a great ride and the scenery is incredible. Well once you get past Morenci and the GIANT mine operations there.

How often can you get on a quite hardly used highway and have a sign like this.

And if you can't read the sign it simply states:

CURVES, MOUNTAIN GRADES, NEXT 30 MILES.

That is enough to bring a smile to just about every rider.

BTW, at the end of this stretch of highway I was actually looking forward to a little more straight highway.
