Well I guess it's true what they say.....
I just dropped my bike for the 1st time about 30 minutes ago less than a mile from work. I'm still not sure what happened. I came up to an intersection and was making a right turn. There was only 1 truck coming and he was about 100 yards away, so I didn't come to a complete stop. I gave just a little throttle and was leaning into the turn when right in the middle of the turn the back tire just shot out from under me. I didn't seen anything in the road that would've caused it, but I didn't give a lot of throttle either, so I don't think that was the problem. Luckily I was only doing about 10 mph. Most of the damage was some scrapes on the bottom pipe. Also bent the rear and front brake levers and broke the tip off the front one. As far as I can tell that's the extent of the damage. Not a scratch to me. I put my foot down trying to catch the bike and I actually ended up on my feet as the bike went out from under me.
