It has been over 3 years since I sold my first bike: 1986 Honda Rebel 450cc. My buddy taught me to ride on his Vulcan years and years ago, and that is when I bought my Rebel. Wow, there is nothing like riding.

Fast forward to 2007...I was fortunate enough to borrow a 1100cc V-Star classic and take a 1800 mile trip with my riding buddy starting at Boise ID, up through Seattle, into Vancouver, the 3 to the 1 (or was it the 1 to the 3?), and back down through ID back to Boise.

This year we are doing the 101 down the WA and OR coast back to ID (he lives in ID). I am finally graduating with my BA in MIS and part of the deal from the Mrs. was that I get to buy a bike when I was done. Unfortunately she had put a limit on what I can spend ($5000) so I am looking at a 2007 Suzuki M50 with 11k miles on it...if it hasn't sold that is. Anywho, thought it was time to become part of the biker computer community LOL.
