1400 Intruder Exhaust
I want to replace the factory exhaust on my Suzuki 1400 Intruder with some aftermarket pipes. I want the replacement pipes to stack on the right side of the bike as opposed to the OEM, one on each side. I don't want pipes that are extremely loud as I work odd shifts and don’t want to wake the wife and daughter, but I do want a deeper rumble than the stock pipes. I have been looking at the Cobra replacement pipes and it appears the Cobra Boulevard Slashcut, in which the left side pipe travels under the bike to the right might be a good choice. The Cobra 2” Drag Pipes pass between the frame and engine to the right side and I am worried that the heat might eventually cause the bike wiring to become brittle and crack. Does anyone have any experience with these pipes or can they suggest another brand that might suit my needs? Like I said I don’t want loud but I want people’s attention when I squeeze the throttle.
Thanks
