 Yippee! My C90T Is Here!
The C90T I ordered back in October finally arrived yesterday. I rode it home from the dealer last night and I rode it to work this morning.
First impressions: I love the smoothness and I love the seat height.
The hydraulic clutch is a little weird. It doesn't seem to engage gradually - it's all of a sudden at the end of the lever stroke.
I can't comment much on the power yet because I'm babying it during the break-in. But, it did surpise me a little getting on the freeway this morning. I was going 70 mph before I shifted into 5th. The same merge on the Virago - I'm in 5th and I'm wanting to shift into the non-existing 6th.
The fit and finish on the bike is noticeably nice.
The transmission is a little noisy. It has a pretty loud gear whine. I suspect this will get quieter after the break-in.
I'll probably want handlebar risers after a while. I could feel myself hunched forward a little bit.
I took one turn at an intersection and leaned it pretty low (for me). It leans very well. Very smooth.
I love having a saddlebag big enough to hold my lunch and my thermos. I had to strap the thermos on the Virago.
