I have a 1992 1400 Intruder with just 15,000 miles.

I read in the manual that the brake and clutch hoses should be replaced every 4 years.

I have mentioned this to a few people and they think that is silly.

Although I have changed the brake and clutch fluid, I have not replaced the hoses.

They appear to look fine.

Do most people replace on a 4 year cycle or is it really unneccessary?
